ok I have a question, the bottom on my tank is all nasty with left over fish food and my starfish and snails SUCK! what would you recommend as a good bottom cleaner

I find it hard to believe you have nasty bottom from left over food and do not have ammonia and nitrate issues. :shock:

Hermits are like indistuctable. Get like 10 max. I got 5 in mine, and they clean the rocks really well.

lol your guna need about 100 snails when that algea blooms. Jokes aside though. If they are turbo snails only 2 is good. And if they are smaller snails, probobly about 5 is fine.

Well its been a month and 2 weeks just about since I started this take.. I test the water twice a week with a master salter water testing kit... and guess what not once did my levels ever spike, I also use other stuff inside my tank like Superbuffer-dKH as needed for my pH and a few others
