My Tank Parameters

Nanna

Reef Freak
Hi everyone. I just finished testing the parameters in my tank, here are the results:
Ammonia - 0, Nitrite - 0, Nitrate - 0, PH - 8.2, Specific Gravity -A 1.026, Phosphates - .25, Calcium - 380, and KH aka Alkalinity - 11dkh/196.9ppm.

I've been doing a 10% water change weekly. I have a hand full of chaeto in my protein skimmer and I'm using PhosBan in my hang-on filter. Phosphates dropped from .75 to .25 over the last 2 weeks when I started using the PhosBan.

All tank inhabitants (fish, cuc, and corals) are doing well and seem to be very happy.

Should I keep doing what I'm doing or do you have suggestions for changes I should make in my routine?

Thank you in advance for any comments or suggestions.

Thanks Sarah. Should I continue weekly water changes until phosphates are 0 and then go to every other week or should I always do weekly changes?

Either weekly or every 2 weeks is fine, that's the schedule that most people keep for water changes. Your phosphates should go down on their own with the media you are using and the macroalgae.
