So I'm stealing Dennis' idea here! I'm picking up my puppy on Monday! I'm so excited but am having a horrible time finding a name. Its a pit bull puppy so I was thinking either a small dog name for comedy sake or a big powerful name. So far a few ideas are :

    Pee wee
    Rogue
    Zeus
    Simba

    Give me your ideas!

Sorry about the poor pictures, apparently all they have for cameras are their cell phones.

That's one great looking pup! I like Simba the best out of your choices. How about Orrin (means river)

Yeah that wont work... I vote for Nigel then. I am not one for whimsical pet names like spot or fluffy...

Having had Pitts before, and knowing the "fear" most other people have for them (because they know nothing about the breed other than what they read in the paper or see on T.V. news) I would say ROGUE is a great choice.

I named my rotti Lucas specifically for this reason. People are naturally afraid of dogs that have bad reps and then when they ask the name and you say killer, it only makes it worse. Dogs feed off of peoples energy and so it seems to me that naming a dog who is potentially dangerous with a name that puts fear into people is a mistake. Give it a more neutral name and people will let their guard down a bit. Plus if it does ever bite someone you'll look silly when they write it up in the paper. "Chomper"s owner says he had no idea that the dog was even capable.... blah blah....

I'm stickin' with Spot. I think it's hilarious. Thats a CLASSIC name for a white dog with a black spot or multiple black spots.

Maybe my sense of humor isn't shining as brightly through the keyboard as it is shinning in my wittle head?

    SPOT!!!

I have heard that you don't want a dogs name to have a vowel for the ending. Most commands end with them. So nothing that rhymes with no, or stay or anything like that. Name the thing Snoopy or Bob. He is a beautiful dog and is going to be huge. You can already see muscle in the front shoulder.
Last year I had to put down Snoop by blind pit. He was around 11 and no dog will ever compare to him. RIP buddy.
