need 2 identifications

I am sure this might be Aiptasia but there is only one and it is kind of beafy, maybe a polyp of some sort? it does retract when you touch it

This one has a pink center with little clear arms that have bubble looking things on the end...this one also closes when you touch it

look for the white shiny bubbles and then you can see the pink center

You could try lemon juice, that works for some people. But Aiptasia X works the best.

The lemon juice thing can be really hit or miss, I would just use the aiptasia X. its much easier.

The second is a ball nem, I rather like those little guys

Yep, they just come and go. Some have pretty orange tips, which someone is claiming is a dangerous pest, but Ive never had an issue with them.

Agree with LF, I had 4 ball nems in my tank and they were fine. I even fed them once a month.

Tweezers :) ,best method for me :) ... Aptaisia X is required if You have a lot of them.. but if You have only few (till 10), just pluk them out with their roots...

I wouldnt do that every piece can grow into a new one. I used Aiptasia rx on the last ones worked very well.

Considering they are both types of mushrooms, I'm not sure it matters a whole lot of difference
