Need advice on good beginner corals

What are a few good types of beginner corals? My only experience with corals is Mushroom corals. A few years ago I bought a rock that had a few, now I have about 50. What else is as hardy as Mushrooms and would like my current light setup. I have PC lighting w/2 65w bulbs on a 29 gallon. Thanks

Zoanthids, ricordeas and sone LPS like frogspawn and hammer coral would probably be ok under your lights

I thought frogspawns were hard(or at least required intense lighting)??

xenia are a good choice fast growing and don't require much light, also the pulsing is kind of fascinating to watch

Frogspawn need low to moderate lighting.

You should check out zoanthids. They come in every color imaginable.

Guess i have alot to learn about corals:lol:, the new LFS i go to has some(frogspawn) ,but i always thought they looked like they were dying or something because they were coming out of a dead brittle looking branch-like thing..Is that normal?

Yeah, frogspawn are usually branching. If you shove the branch in the rocks, you don't see as much of it.
