need advice

I have been having problems keeping my cal and mag in the right range, I do a water change every 2-3 weeks and have try'd all kinds of salt
cal is bouncing from 400-480 and mag will bounce 1280-1320.. I have been doing a pt1&2 dosing but I seem to be doing that almost every other day and that stuff is not cheap, but with that my KH has gone up to 196.9 so now I if that is high and mag and cal are starting to drop I have been adding the reg mag to maintain that and then purple up for the cal... any advice on what I can do besides the pt 1&2

I add my alk to my topp off wate. With an ato it stays the same for me. You might want to test your new salt water before hand for Cal and mag and dose that to the correct level before you change it out.

Thanks I did that with this last water change still didnt help..
