Need help identifying this thing near zoas

    kind of looks like a nem but i dont think its aptasia. they usually have a stem. but it also looks like it encrusting the rock. any way you could break it off the main piece and let it grow.

    ya, could be, there is about 10 thousand different ones out there. just keep an eye on it til you know for sure. sometimes its hard to tell what stuff is until its big enough to do harm to stuff you really want

    I think its aiptasia. To find out for sure, put a couple peppermint shrimp in the tank. If the shrimp eat it up then it is for sure aiptasia.
