Need help quick!!!

Hey guys! Good news! I am getting a new tank tonight! I have one problem. The tank we are getting has sea urchins in it! I don't know how to move them without getting poked (they are the long spiney ones). Any advice??? I was thinking maybe I could scoop them up in a net or maybe even just leave the tank with enough water to cover it's body? I am leaving in like an hour to go get them (just figured out this is happening) and so quick advice would be great! Thanks guys!

You could trim the spines with scissors.

All im saying is, painful to the touch. Tried to pick one up once,bad idea, so make sure you use a net, and put him in a bucket i say.

Thanks guys. Turns out, the urchin was dead :-(. Glad I am taking this tank away from the negligent owners :-D
