I have several of these things growing in my tank, it started out with one, now I have about 4 or 5 that I can see. Although some may look slightly different, they all have those hairy extensions. Can anybody tell me what this is? It's pretty ugly looking, and I'm wondering if they are harmful. How can I get rid of them?

    Yea I'd say curly q.
Had one that hitchhiked on a piece of live rock, it was about that size. Used aipstasia x on it and it was gone by the next morning :D
