Odyssea Metal Halide Pendant

If your tank is 28 inches deep, I dont think a 150 Watt Halide will be sufficient, I had a 24 inch deep tank and the 150's I had did not seem to be enough.

You could look at a larger wattage MH or LED realistically for that depth, I think 28 inches is at the point where T5's may not be a good choice

And by LED I mean something with optics such as the AquaIlluminations units (which I run and LOVE) or some sort of DIY with Cree LED's

I usually recommend metal halides for anything over 18" deep. T5s just don't penetrate as well when you get deeper than that. Maybe a 250 watt MH would be better for a tank of that depth?
