Just took another test, nitrites are at .2 mg/l

I need to raise my pH, lower my C02, buy an ro unit and get a skimmer.

For pH, I want to switch my salt to a pH balanced mix.

Not sure how to go about with the c02 decrease

and ro unit and skimmer will be here in due time.

When I get my new mix, how much af a water change should I do?

Do you have any animals in your tank? If so, I'd go 20%. If you don't have any animals, you can change more, up to 50%. But I wouldn't do any more than that. Your nitrites aren't bad, they are decreasing, so it seems your cycle is moving along like it should. Changing salt should help.

All Ive got is the urchin and a turbo grazer. Does that still constitute for a 50% change?

Nah I don't think so. You're water's not that bad. 20% is probably fine. It's just going through the last leg of the cycle. How often have you been doing water changes? Do you have good circulation in the tank (powerheads)?

your co2 can be decreased with oxygen either plants or more powerheads are your best bet.

The protein skimmer will help with the oxygen level and help reduce co2.
