new black and white clown

I just got a new black and white clown fish, he is just hanging behind the filter all the way at the top of the tank, almost like he is hiding...is this normal?

Most people cant keep more than two clowns, and usually they have to be of the same species.

How big are all 3 of the clowns?

Plus damsels are super aggressive and dont take well to new tankmates

It's normal...give him a few days to get used to his surroundings.

This damsel is pretty tame, keeps to himself and like to hang out in the caves in my live rock and the other two clowns are not to much bigger than the new guy. One seems interested in the new clown he keeps swimming up and turning on his side.

Usually you want the new clown to be of a very different size than the established clowns to minimize aggression between them. Just keep an eye on them, they might work things out.
