New Camera!

I got the hookup on a new camera today, a Canon 50D. I also got an extremely nice lens for it, the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM also made by Canon. I am by no means a pro photographer, but I am learning. Many thanks to d2mini for helping me with all my thousands of camera questions. I took about 300 photos of the tank, and I am sorting through them now. I'll post a couple when I finish up. Here is a couple pics of the camera, just taken with my iPhone. If anyone wants more pictures of the new stuff I can do that as well.

Congrats on the Camera!!! very very sweet Lens. L series... so nice.

I take most of my tank close up shots with the Canon 60mm macro lens. great lens for the price. I have seem some perfer the 100mm for alittle extra reach.

Yeah the lens is just amazing. I still want to get another lens or two and experiment with them. This is also my first DSLR, so I am just getting used to how it works. Also I took those pictures without a monopod, but I am getting some accessories soon (including a billingham bag i just ordered off amazon).
