New established aquarium

I just brought home an aquarium. It was cycled and had some damsels and crabs. Question is the temperature dropped on the water so i put the fish in the bag they where in. then i placed in the tank for temp adjust all water is the prev owners. How long to leave the fish in the bag. Also is water clarifier ok to use?

Float the bag for about 15-20mins, which should bring the bag water temp up to the tank temp. No need to use anything to clear the water up, it will clear up in a day or two.

You said the temperature dropped. The tank has a heater...right?

Yes I have a heater. - transported the water in buckets in back of tank. Water is clear and fish are released. All going well so far. I bought the setup from somebody moving so I took there water and all.
