New Fish

When I finally get around to getting fish, is it best to get them all at once, or space them out? Please let me know as that will be my next feat. I know with some species it is best to introduce certain ones last. Thanks!

You definately need to space them out that way your tank has time to settle down the parameters and avoid kicking off a cycle. If you are planning on getting a fish that's slightly more aggressive or territorial save them for last.

I'd say get one fish every 3 weeks to a month to be on the safe side.

First make a list. The amount of fish is limited for a 30 so keep researching and checking your list till you come up with the ones with the best chance for survival and follow the advice of the experienced keepers who have already weighed in it will help you keep the kids involved.....I hate fish funerals
