Do these wrasses bury themselves in the substrate?

Not all wrasses do but leopards are one of the kinds that do.

does anyone know how long leopards hide in the sand before they come out she hasn't come out yet :(

When I first got mine it hid for 3-4 days before I saw it swimming around.

when she dove in the sand it was near my one bubble coral but i am not sure if she moved or not hoping she comes out today sometime :(

ok so i finally seen her lastnight a little bit before the lights went out but my clowns were beating the crap out of her and she went back in the sand after about 20 seconds of them trying to nip at her and cornering her :(:( what should i do

Can you banish the clowns to the sump for a week?

+1 littlefish,the clowns need a time out....
They are related to damsels,so ,they can and usually are aggressive ...
In a 55 though,i would think you could move enough stuff around and rearrange their area to the point where they will need to reestablish a territory

i put them in my refugium tonight its very small just enough to swim for the both of them but i am hoping the wrasse comes out tommarow now

well looks like she is not gonna make it :( the clowns took a big chunk out of the one side of her body , she is laying on the sand i will post a pic after work of the damage
