new light acclimation

Well I got my new 6x54 Sunpower haning and shining. This is on a LPS tank. It's replacing a 4x54 Nova. I have the fixture 10" off of the top with the dawn/dusk running from 12pm-9pm and the daylights set for 2pm-7pm. Will this be ok? Do I need to change the schedule or the height?

I think that should be fine. You only increased the wattage by 50%. I am assuming that you had the other fixture closer to the tank.

The other fixture was much closer since it sat on top with the legs but it had the single parabolic reflector. The output between the two probably isn't close.
