i hope with my new job i will be able to get a couple of these bad boys they are a bit spendy but i bet they are worth it. they are $995 a peice but would cut the power used to almost nothing.

That looks awesome! But is the light spectrum only 5300K?

no at full power it is 5300k as you dim it the color shifts towards the blue side

I went to the site and checked it out, I guess I just did t get it. That looks really cool and the price is really competitive with LEDs

the one thing i read about it in coral mag one guy said he use's 2 of them on a 6ft tank

I saw a few threads on RC about plasma lighting. Seems like it's still too new and they need to work out some bugs. They are bright tho. :)

i talked to aqua illuminations today and they said they scraped theres because the technology was just not there yet

James, just found this thread on RC a couple days ago. The guy is using the plasmas that you linked to, his PAR results are impressive.
