i got this today from a friend dont know what it is or where to put it in the tank what kind of light does it requier i have 6x54w t5 in a 75g any info on what it is or feeding ect... will be a help thank again everyone

That's some sort of brain coral. It will do well in moderate light. After your lights go out, it should put out feeding tentacles, and you can target feed it with mysis or brine.

its really thin and molded its self on a piece of LR it broke off my friends main piece i forgot to ask him about it he just gave it to me

not shur if its a brain coral its to thin and no tentacles have come out

It is definitely a brain. They can be thin. And they don't always put their tentacles out.

Looks like Favia, which is a type of brain coral like biff said.

favite? I have one, and it never puts its tentacles out, but it's still growing.

It's a favite, very similar to a favia. Mine never put feeding tentacles out :(
