Hello all, new to the hobby here. I live in Miami and love to go snorkeling in the reefs, especially in the Florida Keys. It has itched already for a long time to have a piece of the ocean in my living room and finally last week pulled the plug and bought a used 190 gls tank, with sump and some equipment. I am doing research while the tank is in the back of the house, empty, before I fill it out with water and start the journey. All excited and terrified at the same time, a lot of info to process before start making mistakes. There are many guides, all different, yet it seems most succeed. Hopefully everything goes well and I have mine up and running soon. I will be asking a lot of questions and will appreciate your support.
That's all for now folks, on to do some more reading, and if you have any suggestions, feel free.

Welcome... that's a big tank to start with, so don't put too much into it for a year or so, until you learn all the basics.
