Hi this is my first attempt at setting up a reef aquarium, I was fortunate to aquire 100kg of live rock from a guy who had to dismantle his due to moving upheaval, I set the tank up on 28/03/10, c/w sump, had it running for 3 days, carried out PH, ammmonia, nitrite, nitrate,kh/gh, iron, calcium, phosphate and salinity tests, all were within the parameters of good condition only then did I move my 5 fish from the nano tank into my 250l tank, since then I have added 1 yellow tang and 1, 6 stripe wrasse, have been testing the conditions daily and only did the PH creep up to 8.3, I have also added 3 corals and have recently purchased some anemone's, ther has been a suggestion that the anemone's might be nuicance anemones I dont know being a novice, have tried to upload photo's but without success, willkeep trying, i'd like to thank all the aquarists who have responded to my posts, it has been most helpful
    profound thanks

Cool, and congrats on everything. I've found photobucket to be the easiest way to post pics.
