NOX-ICH= death to inverts?

I used one capful of nox-ich for my damsel yesterday in my 110 gal tank (only fish in the tank besides some pep shrimps and turbos) and it looks like all the shrimps are dead. Is nox-ich copper-based? I can't seem to get any information about the stuff besides the 2 ingredients from the bottle and web searches that show other people having great success with it. I guess I shouldn't have been so lazy and set up a QT...just seemed like too much trouble at the time!:grumble:

I have never heard of it. But even medications that claim to be reef safe have a tendency to kill inverts. Which is why I don't trust ANY medications in my main tank... My question is, why bother treating a damsel that comes down with ich?? :) It would probably be able to fight it off on its own.

You'll be wanting to watch your tank for an ammonia spike.
If you got live rock in there, you can bet that all the little bugs and stuff was killed along with your shrimp.
Its a bad idea to use ANY kind of medication in your display tank.
