RANGE - Tropical Atlantic and Eastern Pacific

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 1,000 US Gal. ( 3, 785 l)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Pieces of fresh shrimp, scallops, marine fish flesh. Feed to satiation 2 times a week.

AQUARIUM SUITABILITY - 1

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Eats crustaceans, small fishes, tends to topple corals and rockwork not secured.

CAPTIVE CARE - Can grow 7.5 inches (19 cm) a year in captivity, a voracious feeder consuming all that is offered making it hard for tankmates to feed adequately such as other sharks, rays, and bottom feeders.
