Odyssea PC light fixture

My odyssea PC light fixture has two bulbs in it. One 96 w daylight bulb and one 96 w actin bulb. It also has LED moonlights that arent working.

My issue is that it is running really HOT! Im worried the cooling fans arent also working. I know this thing is a piece of sh*t but does anyone have any suggestions on how i can cripple the thing out until i can afford a nice light?

And i guess while we are at it, can you guys give me links to good lights for a 55 gal, 3 ft tank.

You better be careful with that, heat means something is wrong, and can cause a fire, so please check it and dont leave it even plugged in unless your home and get it fixed. Dr. Foster and Smith had some great deals on lights, perhaps you can swing a new one?

It could be that the coolong fan has gone out.But can also be that something else has gone wrong.
You can try having a fan blow across the top of your fixture and see if that'll help the heat.But I'd still replace it ASAP.
