Arsenal got SO lucky. To be fair, so did United.

I'm totally okay with this. And I'm not going to deny it, either.
I feel like it'll give 'em a chance to get their legs back.

Group D is going to be CRAZY.

    Getting onto the fans?

Red Bulls are arguably the most hated team in the MLS (thanks to Henry and his cheating ass) but I've not heard of any animosity towards the fans.

I went the the RB/Rapids game fourth of July and there were a ton of RB fans there... we sang, they sang. Nothing beyond that.

The only thing we really hear of the MLS over here (Australia) is about Red Bulls because of Tim Cahill.

That said, Pay TV has just started showing a random game a week plus highlights which I catch when I can. Some good football played. I think its a bit like the a-league, a lot better than people who aren't fans would give it credit for.

I did watch LA Galaxy a few years back when they played an end of season game over here against my club.

MLS has gotten leaps and bounds better over the past few seasons. We're actually able to hold on to some talent and it's a decent league for those not ready to give up the game yet.
