Snow stopped for about an hour, then it picked back up.

Midway Airport has 18 inches of snow. I live a bout 10 miles south of there, so I bet we have about that much also.

Its crazy just looking out the window. There is a Jeep parked out in the lot that the front end is almost 100% burried in a snow drift.

We have winds here. They lifted the level 3. Now we are at 2. Hubby went to work after they changed it, his supervisor told him he didn't have to come in, but since he was already there .... lol

We got about 12 or 13 inches here at my house in Swartz Creek, Mi...I live about 3/4's of a mile south of I-69.

I'm glad I didn't have to go anywhere today. But my husband had to go to work (it's a cable/phone/Internet company and they have to make sure their phone lines are on for emergencies...) and he took his truck in. Sadly, my truck, stayed home.

A chair sitting by our pond, the seat is completely covered... and this was taken a few hours ago.

This is a picture of a very huge Catnip bush in my herb garden...it was at least 2.5 ft tall.

And the only clear spot in the driveway was from my truck...LOL.

The next few pics are taken from my brand new phone:

My big truck and my little truck are snowed in...and not getting any attention today :(

The little barn is where my Huskies are... their fenced in part is on the opposite side. They were out playing in the snow. My white Husky, Max, was actually sleeping outside last night instead of inside like a smart dog.

The front of my house, facing the road. We live on a dirt road...and the only sign of life today was my husband leaving for work...one set of tracks coming home at noon for lunch. LOL. His tracks from this morning were drifted over. When he got home for lunch, his Dad (his boss) called him and told him to stay home. They were closing the office.

And my lovely lunch that I made... Whole wheat thin crust pizza with tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers, and low fat cheese.
