When will they invent the Mr Fusion from Back to the Future? Some coffee grounds, banana peels, half a can of beer, and you are good to go:mrgreen:

Heres something interesting that I learned today about some cleanup efforts. They are asking hair dressers from around the country to save their hair from the cuts. Apparently 1lb of human hair will soak up 5lbs of the oil. It can also be removed from the hair and the hair is being reused. My sisters shop is sending bags of the stuff everyday I guess?????

Who would've ever thought that hairdressers would save the day...

Did you guys see 60 minutes last night? Here's the latest on the BP explosion. I know it doesn't mean anything, but I'm done getting gas from BP. The first link is a guy who was on the rig. The 2nd link is the guy who is investigating the accident, he also investigated the space shuttle explosion.

If you ask me, you couldn't find 2 more credible witnesses.

    Absolutely incredible.

Does anyone know which gas station chains get their oil from BP?

They are now going to be investigated for lying about their ability to respond to disasters when they filed their application to drill there.

Hmmmmm, that is a good question.Any smaller chain store could be getting it from whoever. The only way to make sure is get gas at Exxons and Shell stores.

Didn't Exxon fund like 60% of Bush's presidential campaigns as a payoff to relieve drilling restrictions?

I thought that most if not all oil gets traded and sold to any refinery. So it can be anywhere you get gas. I could be wrong though.

Naw.Each oil company has their own refineries if I'm thinking right.
What oil gets sold,is sold over seas.

Notice how all those people that were screaming "DRILL BABY DRILL" during the last election are all suddenly silent? Hmmmm wonder where they all went?? A few have now come out in support of amendments to state constitutions to ban offshore drilling, when just two years ago they were all "DRILL BABY DRILL"... Why do these people have to wait until a horrible disaster happens before they start listening to the warnings?

The more I hear about this, the more I get pissed. Since the oil is caught in the loop and coming around the coast of Florida, I wonder how this is going to effect TBS?

I hope that all of this oil runs all the way up the coast and comes to a complete rest in the Hamptons where all of these DB's have their summer mansions.

Because its easier to turn a blind eye to something that MIGHT happen, when your bank account is being sweetened up by the compinies that make their money by drilling.

You can bet that TBS and any other bussiness that depends on the gulf are gonna be hurt bad.Probably put 3/4 of em out of bussiness.

    Yep.
I about ran out of gas this evening. But I drove right on past the BP to get to the Shell station.
If I had run out right in front of the BP,I would have walked home and got my gas can and had the wife drive me to the Shell.
