Old, Old Dwarf Angel Died Yesterday

So, when we received our new tank we had a dwarf angelfish come with it, he or she was so old that we did not even know what kind it was. Anyway, since it has died all of the fish have been swimming all over the tank, whereas before they only went certain places and never really swam the whole length of the tank. I am wondering if anyone has had any type of strange situation like that, and why that may be?

i would assume that the angel was dominant over the other fish and that now that its gone they feel safe and free to swim the entire tank. before the angel may have harassed them for swimming in its territory... never had a first hand experience of this just my opinion

I agree. Territorial rights have now expired.
