Ok so I decided I wanted to get into really good shape for the cruise I am going on in June and since I had the p90x thing already (started it years ago then the divorce side tracked me) Now I am not in bad shape at all to start off with. Pretty good really for just turning 45. So started it yesterday.....right now I cant even touch my face with out moving my head forward. I have done a lot of weight training but this is ridiculous. Either I am going to be ripped in 90 days or dead....

So how did it work out for you? I have always been a go until you cant go anymore kind of person but I think I will need to pace myself for the first few weeks.

    LOLOL Love my sig haha.

But it was damn hard for the first week, and then you get into the swing of it, but it still hella burns if you go hard on it! Believe me, just work through it, its a beast, but, its worth it.
And our whole team was a go till you puke or pass out, and we loved it. Gotta say, so much more fun with a buddy too.

LOL, yeah... P90x. Did that a couple times. Except for the ab dvd AFTER you already did 50 mins of the normal dvd. Efffff that.

I just finished the 8 week Rush Fit program and started it again.
I like it better. Less crap to keep track of. Not as crazy but still kicks your butt. And more overall full body vs the intense strength training of p90x. All you need is a few dumb bells. If you make it through p90x, rush fit will be great for maintaining.

    And gdammit, Waddi!

Well right now my triceps hurt so bad that I cant really feel the rest of it. Well a little here and there. Suppose to do arms tomorrow....tri's are killing me from the chest and back routine...I was all go into it think slow but NNNNOOOO got all into and at the end couldnt even push myself off the floor. Then did the ab ripper...I know my abs hurt just kinds dull in the back ground compared to the arms. As a reef keeper I should know that nothing good happens fast..well off to work...

    Rock on dude!

I dropped from low 170's to low 150's over two years ago just by cutting out the bad carbs and have kept it off. Don't you just love having to buy new pants when they are are SMALLER?! Keep it up!

did you do the standard "before" pictures?

I ought to do something like that but with the herniated disks, torn rotator cuff, damaged medial miniscus I am a bit afraid to try it...I think I will just continue being a slack, out of shape mid 50s kinda guy....
