I hear people talk all the time about how hard it is to get MDs eating anything but pods. I've had two of them and both times I turn off flow and drop pellets or Orange sushi roe over them and they eat it immediately.

sen, mine eats roe too, but that's the only non-live food hell eat, and it doesn't really keep him fed very well. after 6 mo's or so he was getting skinny... that's why I upgraded to the big tank.

I just ordered a mandarin last week! (I ended up putting my entire order on hold due to the kalk overdose. I want to make sure my tank is back to normal before adding anything).
I sure hope they have success with them. I'd definitely get one from ORA next time.
