COMMON NAME - Orangestriped Cardinalfish

RANGE - Indo Pacific

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 30 US Gal. (144 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Marine fare for carnivores, chopped into bits small enough for the fish to handle, marine fish, crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp, frozen preparations for carnivores, and omnivores.

AQUARIUM SUITABILITY - 10

REEF COMPATIBILITY - May eat ornamental shrimp, otherwise, safe.

CAPTIVE CARE - Can be housed in groups of 5 - 7 if added at the same time, provide hiding places, does well in deep or shallow reef tanks, may pester smaller tankmates, readily acclimates to captivity, will accept a wide variety of aquarium fare. Feed one time a day min. Spends much of it's time in the open.
