ph buffer and nitrate reducer

Is it ok to add a buffer and nitrate reducer in and around the same time? my pH and kH are low and my nitrates are an on going battle.... just want to know if there will be a negative reaction if I added those two items around the same time, please help :question:

well, there are better solutions to both of your problems than adding stuff. Do a water change, will fix all of your issues.

Never use buffers or at least I would never ever use them. If you have to buffer then you need to fix something else.

Nitrate reducers usually aren't too effective. I would say use it but it is not going to help overnight.

Change the water every week for a while but do like 25% in my opinion. Just feed half of what you do now. It will or really should help a lot.

I would also say to get some corals if you don't have any. It may not be scientifically proven but since I added more of them my water is always great.
