A couple of weeks ago I replaced my 3 double ended 150 watt 14k Ice Cap bulbs with the Phoenix bulbs...of course they are noticeably more blue but I am having trouble with my leathers...I have a couple of leathers that were when extended nearly 12 inches tall...since the bulb change they have drawn up and seem to not like the bulb change....I know new bulbs are hotter so I have used screen to diffuse the lighting but they still won't open as before...now do not know if the light was diffused too much or if the new bulbs are still burning too hot....have always used either Coralife or Current in the past with no issues ..this is in a 150 gallon 24" deep reef tank....any help wpould be appreciated,,thanks :frustrat:

They should fully open back up in a few days... they're just acclimating to the new lighting, and also remember that leathers go thru that stage where they close up and shed for a few days. So I wouldn't worry about it too much.
