I know an ideal phosphate level would be zero. I just got a phosphate test over the weekend. Mine is reading at 0.02ppm. Is that high? It's a salifert kit if that helps.

.02 is not to bad but 0 is better. try getting a phosban reactor and getting some GFO from bulkreefsupply.com

According to Dr Shimek (a welt known expert on inverts and corals) 0.1 ppm phosphates is when corals start to stress and eventually die.

you can use that one or get one like ccapt has. i have the two little fishies phosban reactor. and is use this

any of their carbon is good i have heard good thins about their rox carbon and it is all cheap from bulkreefsupply
