It is hard to see him, but this is the best shot I could get. He is yellowy-tan in color

That is an asterina star. Very common hitch hikers.

In the future, if you are updating us on stuff like this, you can post it in the original thread that you already started. It clutters stuff up if you start a new thread every time you find a new starfish or take a picture of one. I'll close your extra threads right now to keep things moving...
