Looks great! Where did you learn how to set up the cam for each pic? I don't know nothing about setting them up, but would love to get nicer shots.

    Looking good, Dustin.
You like taking super shallow depth of field shots, eh? :)

    Here's a shot I did fairly recently.
Tank of water, red fizzy tablet, and off-camera nikon speedlight. And patience.

What I mean is what features do you change. I just turn mine one and snap a pic and they never look good. I would love to be able to take pics like those, or just better pics of my tank.

You need to get the camera off of automatic and learn how to use the manual controls. Your camera is making choices for you and a lot of the time it makes the wrong choices especially under tricky lighting situations like your tank.

    Thank you.
Not full time, but I do make some cash on the side. :)

no i sure didnt. you see what i took. nothing more than a few tiny adjustments that i do with all the other photos you see in there. just cleaning them up a bit. no manipulation or anything like that. just standard post production stuff

    Great shots!

You were right manual made a huge difference. Don't get me wrong my shots are still $hity, but do look alot better. I never used manual before because it only took black shots, but I messed with it for a while and figured how to change the color to bring light into the pic. I just ran the batteries dead playing with it, but once they're recharged I'll post my pics. Don't laugh though, because they're no where near as good as your guys.
