COMMON NAME - Pinkspotted Shrimp Goby (Singapore Shrimp Goby)

SIZE - 5.9" (15 cm)

RANGE - Eastern Indian Ocean and Western Pacific

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 30 US Gal. (114 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Meaty foods, fresh or frozen mysid shrimp, vitamin enriched brine shrimp, finely chopped table shrimp, frozen preparations for carnivores, feed min. 2 times a day.

AQUARIUM SUITABILITY - 8

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will eat ornamental shrimps, will not harm sessile invertebrates.

CAPTIVE CARE - One of the more aggressive members of this group, adults will attack other gobies and smaller unrelated fishes such as assessors or wrasses. The aggression can be lowered somewhat by providing a larger tank and introducing as the last fish. Keep only one per tank unless a proven pair can be obtained, once a shrimp goby is paired they should never be separated.
