Possibly ich infected tank?

One of my 50 gal reefs have been infected with ich the past month and there is only inverts in there (snails, hermit crabs, shrimp) and I took one of the large snails out of the tank to feed to my Dog face puffer in my 80 gallon predator tank. Could the ich be on the snail that I put in?

They don't attack inverts, but they are in the water column, so I'm guessing it's possible...someone else will chime in I'm sure :) If it's been fallow for 4 weeks, hopefully enough died off.

It's possible to get carried in on something like a snail or in a drop of water -- but that chance is very small. I wouldn't worry about it.
