Protein skimmer matainence

Hello everreboddy!
Quick question I have a hob skimmer should I clean the entire unit it's been 3 months I've clean the skimmer cuo and the motor but not the body (acrylic).

I used to clean the body of the skimmer...maybe once a year. The neck (where the bubbles rise) and collection cup should be cleaned as part of your regular maintenance routine -- at least once a month, maybe every week or two, depending on how dirty they get.
