    Hi All,

I have a 75 Gallon live rock tank and was wondering what would be the best placement setup for my maxi-jet 1200 pimps. Here is a pic of the tanl:

There is equal space behind the rock as there is in front. I want to hopefully have the air flow in such away to encourage the fish to the front of the tank.

    Thank you,
    Lucas

I assume you meant pumps, not pimps??? ;) Cause you know, the pimps like to be close enough to their hos to keep an eye out for them :D. Put one powerhead in each corner, facing the front of the at a diagonal, high enough up that they cause a ripple in the water.

when i had maxi-jets in my tank i removed the little flow deflector and aimed them straight toward each other near the water surface. the flow will crash into each other and create good turbulence in the water.

I think I would add either a couple more maxi-jets,or a couple of koralias pushing across the back, behind the rock work.
But then again,I was always partial to the hurricane effect in my tank.
