Purple Lobster Info

    Can someone tell me if a purple lobster will grow his front claws back.

    Almost all your shrimp, crabs and bobsters will grow their appendages back. I`ve had a purple reef lobster for about 7 yrs and have seen him probably about 7 times. If you are looking for something to be seen you dont want the lobster. LOL

    I had one over 6 months before I ever saw him after putting it into the tank. I forgot I had ever bought it, it had been so long. Sad 'cause I got it because it was so pretty. :lol:

    He has never picked at them. He is what I like to call a good janitor. They call these Debelius' Reef Lobster IMO they are very reef safe.
