FOODS AND FEEDING - Marine fish, crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp, frozen preparations. Feed min 3 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Not safe with most corals and invertebrates, except well armored crustaceans.
CAPTIVE CARE - Will attack and eat small to large stinging sea anemones, very small and very large individuals sometimes have difficulty acclimating to captivity. If specimen is not eating do not purchase, more than one adult can be kept in a large tank, chasing of each other and members of their family is observed without damage on occasion, peaceful with nonrelated fish species. (Similar species - C. Fasciatus, Red sea Raccoon Butterflyfish).
