random snail

I found this snail. It looks like it has a small shell on top and its super fast. Don't know if its good or bad but I put it in a test tube to make sure. This is the best I could do for a pic. Let me know anyone

So should I put it back? It won't eat coral or my feather duster? Just making sure. And you are very helpful. Thank you. How sure are you its a good guy because its the second time I seen this guy around and I don't wanna put him back in if it will hurt my tank

Ok back in he goes......how do I keep getting these things if I haven't gotten rocks or coral in a long time.

They reproduce in your tank. There's probably a bunch more you aren't seeing.

I found a brittle star as well idk where that came from but you guys told me its good.ok its back in my tank.

+1 Erin.. Yeah, those snails are cool lil creatures...and they reproduce like crazy.

Stomatellas are one of the most common hitch hikers. They mainly feed on film algae on the rocks. They are good guys. :)
