Gotta love the octopus.:D
I dont think you can have ANY KIND of marine tank and not even think of keeping an octopus.

Yote, I agree 100% :D he still isnt eating, so we have 2 days before we go out to get him eating, if not, he has 2 weeks without food! haha my uncle might be able to get him feeding though.

why do they freak you out mcr?

heres a video, my brother and my dad speaking, trust my dad to try and agitate him by tapping the glass XD

What a beautiful animal! And you gave him a toy. They are such smart creatures. I hope you've got that lid on tight.

careful not to keep anything shiny near them... or any small mamals... if they go unfed theyve been known to break out of theyre tank and ill small animals... also if they get bored they steal your cds and break them up hahah basically a locking tank is a good idea ;)
aside from that they are magnificent... looks great! good luck

You might try droping some live crabs in there for him to eat.
Octopusnormally feed on crab,so that may start him feeding.Besides,if he's like the octopus we've had at the store,he'l perfer to hunt and catch live prey.

Yea, that is true yote, but we will try and get him on frozen food. I gave my brother my biggest hermit and i looked in there today and the shell is empty, so he has fed :D

the lid is on rreeeaaaaallly tight! there is so much tape and foam holding things in because these guys are way to smart lol they can open jars from the inside!

solar, they are fine with most corals, its just that they knock them over. He hasnt touched the plates. but took out my torch coral because it was dying.

I love australian accents. Next time get a girl to talk in your video.

Oh ya, sweet octo... but they do creep me out a little too.

Hey Josh, what kinda octopus is that and how much did it cost. Most of the octopus I have seen on divers den or the likes are soooo expensive:shock:

.

Haha ill get my gf talking, she hates the thing, so will be a few insults in it ;)

The octopus was 100 AUSD, he was just classified as a 'reef octopus' at the store but is supposedly a 'dwarf octopus' *bullshit imo* but we got him anyway haha.

Kinda sad, but i knew this was a possibility, we put a small powerhead in the tank to stir the water, and had found him stuck in there today, he lost 2 of his legs and now have found him dead :(

but in the end, they need a very specialised tank, not sure how i would get this water flowing without the powerhead so going to go and get corals and fish for him now. Get my little brother addicted to SW tanks hehe
