red general star fish diet?

Well since I have got my tank I have had this general star and have never fed it anything. I looked them up earlier and it says that they need a "meaty" diet? Should I get it something to eat or let it continue to eat debri and algae? Whats the best thing for it?

not sure. I have a bali star and have never fed it anything. it eats whatever it finds.

they love krill. drop a piece or two near it and it will take care of itself
