Reefing newb
maybe someone could clear this up for me a little. when they ask you what you are dosing with and i choose Dowflake, does the amount they say to put in your tank mean the solution or dry before it is mixed with water?

wish I had a answer for you, I dont dose my tanks with anything. I just do regular water changes and everything seems to be ok for me.

If you choose calcium chloride dihydrate (Dowflake), you use that amount in dry form, but you should dissolve that amount in some water before dumping it in your tank. The Randys Recipe 1 and Randys Recipe 2 choices are Dowflake already mixed with water per Randy's DIY 2 Part instructions.
