Should i get one of these from BRS during the group buy? if so, what all does it do, I have heard it works as a timer for lights, temp probe, and PH probe. I am looking at this one specifically Reef Keeper Lite L1 - Digital Aquatics - English

If I do get that one, can I buy more parts, like their outlet setup and probes to be able to use it for more things?

You'd have to read the specs on it in order to see all the features it offes, and anytthing that can be added later. I originally was going to buy a Reefkeeper, but have since changed my mind and am now going with the Neptune Systems Apex, it just does way more and can be controled by almost any droid phone while you are away.

I think I am going to get the RKL I did a little reading on it on other forums, as well as DA's site.

My RKL does everything i need it to do.
The only thing it doesn't do that I wouldn't mind having is sending alarms and stuff to my cell phone.
And yes, you can add up to 4 PC4 modules and add other probes and stuff.
You can even upgrade to the regular reef keeper later for a discounted price.

I noticed that dennis. my question is, with that one i posted the link to, it comes with the temp probe, but can i just buy a seperate ph probe, and hook it up right away?

You should be able to. You can get the probe from BRS as well. I think they are like 24 or 29 bucks with our discount.

to me its essential, you can do without though. I just like the ph probe :)

BRS doesnt have the ph probe, otherwise i would buy it right now, so i will have to get it later i guess
