I bought a reefractometer 2 weeks ago to replace my coralife hydrometer and I want to make sure I am measuring my salinity corectly

I calibrated my refractometer with RODI water and it is reading 1.024, when I test with the hydrometer it reads almost 1.028

I am guessing the hydrometer is off or maybe something else?

The hydrometer is probably off, which is why we highly recommend using a refractometer instead of hydrometer.

My refractometer doesn't calibrate correctly with RODI. I have to use calibration solution or it's off.
