Regular test and checks

Dear Friends,
I'm new to salt water tank.
Can you guide me on what are the regular water test and checks that I should perform and how often should i do this. How often should I do water toping and water exchage.

When to add beneficial bacterias and other trace elements.

Basic tests are
PH, Nitrate, Nitrite, Ammonia.

After the cycle I test every week when I do you water change or something seems weird. You need to top off water daily.

Most people get a Auto Top Off unit, make your life so much easier.

Sound one else will have to cover the adding stuff to the tank.

The basic rule on additives is that if you aren't testing for it, don't dose it. If you are adding things without testing, it is really easy to overdose, and that can be fatal to anything in your tank!

I agree with everyone here once you get coral there will be other stuff need to test once you get coral.
