Well, this is probably a stupid question, but how do I remove my corals from the frag rocks? I have a mushroom that I would like to get off but I don't want to hurt it by tugging away at it.

slice it with a razor blade as close to the base of it as possible and let it attach itself to the rock you want it on

You can usually peel mushrooms off with your hands too. They'll pop off if you pull hard enough.

After cutting it though your best bet you be to put it in a container with rocks to attach to and then cover the top with vale so it wont get blown around and lost. What I do is cut the top off a 2 liter bottle and cover the frags with it. Just push it in the sand so it doesn't move and leave the cap off so some fresh water can enter.

A lot of times too,you can lay a rock against the shrooms foot and just it walk itself onto the rock.
